GRAUDIUM, ADEO MIHI
POTOP

I am currently tumbling in my hip hop class. Maybe it’s just my ego but I think I’m an avid enough listener to recognize the artists that will be covered on the final; so I figured I’d just tumble now and find these required listening songs in my personal playlists later on. So this is what it’s like when you take a class for something you enjoy…

My favorite performers at the moment photographed together. Now that’s just lovely! <3

Katy Perry, Rihanna, Ke$ha, and Nicki Minaj

My favorite of the favorites at the moment though is definitely Nicki Minaj. She just becomes more and more interesting every time I find her in blogs and such. Just yesterday I watched her MTV special (Nicki Minaj: My Time Now) while I was doing my final paper for hip hop, which incidentally were relevant to each other. My essay’s topic was “misogyny” in hip hop and the women who are making their mark in the industry, so it was pretty cool that it just happened to be broadcasting just as I decided to take a break.

I got tired of my endless split ends and the overall length of my hair so while I was home, I chopped off five inches from the longest layer and even more from the shorter ones to add more texture. The salon floor looked like it just had a poodle explode on it. I’m not completely satisfied with it but luckily, hair grows back and there isn’t anyone worth trying to impress at the moment. Eye candy is just not in season.

Just coming back to school from Thanksgiving break, I am so not ready for school. I wish there was more time in between Thanksgiving break and winter break, just because I’m not in the right mindset to start studying for finals yet. I have this week to study then it’s straight into finals. R.I.P. decent grades; I shall mourn you during the time between now and when I stuff my face for Christmas.

Update: Having to call when I can’t sleep, when work is slow, to force me to study. Yeah, I don’t want a relationship: I just want the perks of one.

I’m no regents scholar, nor do I have tons of credits from AP tests, but the classes and the times I got them for winter quarter really aren’t too bad. I’m most excited for my gender studies class and least excited for the 9AM start time to my day.

I never thought it would happen but I am now a B-cup girl. Is there a big different between A-cups and B-cups? No…But there’s more plump now so B is comfortable.

At first, I was a little nervous about the culture shock I’d have transitioning between a small-town high school and a extremely diverse, public university but now I’m glad I went away from home to explore. I’ve met so many interesting people from so many different places and with experiences I never get sick of hearing about. I probably wouldn’t have had the amazing experiences I’ve had here at home. However, I will say that I miss the hypebeast culture and the actual hypebeasts from back home. I didn’t realize it until I got here but there are some things that exclusive to my hometown. I thought I lived in a pretty bland area. Guess not, bbyguh.

Sriracha sauce, house slippers, painted toe nails, juice boxes, toe socks, a few stuffed cows, and some mascara. If I have those things, I feel right at home. High maintenance? I personally don’t think so.

Thanksgiving break was reserved for family time so I’ll make winter break family plus friends time. I miss the babies, ever so much. I wanna go crazy things with y’all<3
