Considering how negative and panicky I can get when things don’t go my way, it’s very strange that I’ve yet to have a bad day since school started. I’m still on vacation! I even sent out a postcard for the first time today! Life is good, life is good. Thanks, God, for the food, great roomies/suite-ies, boys, and pushing me off the waitlists.

The Chase Rewards commercials are pretty…accurate. I have one and sometimes I just wish people would give me the cash to put into my account so I can charge it and get the rewards points. I want that bright red blender and I need like another thousand points!

I feel like I worked harder in high school than I do now in college. I really don’t study a lot, I rarely do homework because I’m not always “in the zone,” work takes away a good chunk of my day away, and night is when all the suite fun begins. It doesn’t show up that way though, I currently have two solid A’s and and solid B. My last grade is unknown at the moment. I was warned that my college GPA will be about a whole point less than my high school GPA but it seems about the same…COOL BEANS!

Today was an especially good day! First, today was the first day I went to ALL of my classes since school started and my TA’s call me by my name now! During the little break I had inbetween some classes, I found that the parentals deposited another check into my account. After that, I found that I didn’t fail the last chemistry quiz like I thought and actually had an A in the class. On top of all of that, my mom finally learned to text me back!

I don’t think I have to work Sunday! I don’t know how people can work eight hour days in this bookstore…There’s only so much to do and only so many people ask questions…I think I should bring homework tomorrow and see if the boss says anything about doing homework behind the counter…

I love it when my daddy gets jelly of me. The Lakers are playing the Warriors in an local arena and tickets for students here at UCSD are only $15. I told my daddy and he got sad that I, not a fan of the Lakers, have the opportunity to see them and he, a huge fan, cannot. HA HA, MR. HA! I’m going to use that money for Bruno Mars instead, thanks.

Friday night = Fall Fest! I’m always sad when Big Boi appears because I’d so much rather see Andre 3000 but hey, it’s an on-campus event that’s free to me so…LET’S GIT IT, TM-P-500’s!

My first batch of free samples just got shipped out! YES! KASHI CEREAL AND CREST TOOTHPASTE! YEEEEEAH BUDDY!

FUX, fire drill tomorrow at 7:15AM! I haven’t woken up earlier than 8AM since I’ve gotten here…
