Everything but my phone charger and the laptop I am currently using are packed and in the car, ready to go in the morning as I head down to La Jolla. The mini-van is pretty filled up and it probably has more space than the third of the room I’m moving into. I thought my room would look empty but then I realized that I bought duplicates of a lot of my things. I’m excited, very excited, but now the nerves are kicking in a little bit. I hope the other kids play with me.

Today was a lot better than I thought it would be. My parents tend to ruin my excitement with nagging and bad attitudes but today wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected it to be. I saw the church kids, ones I knew I’d see and others that snuck up on me. I ran into people running errands too. I came home to loving messages from people I care about. My new card came in the mail, along with that water-conserving shower head I got for free at that field trip I went on. My last dinner before leaving for school was a Happy Meal I ordered through Trevor Miller, who actually recognized me. The last TV show I caught was SNL, which featured Jay-Z and Betty White. I’ll admit there was a snippet of time I was hella emo but I had a good day and it looks like the days to come will be just the same if not better. Cool beans!

My first mission has to be pushed back two whole weeks! Darn you appealing Welcome Week activities! Darn you shared birthday! Darn my lack of monetary income! DARN DARN DARN! Right now I need time without appealing Welcome Week activities going on, a different birthdate from my daddy, and twice the money I thought I needed before.

Tommorow at this time I hope to be laying in bed, exhausted after the Welcome Dance, and going over my job interview Q&A’s. Yip-fucking-Pee.
